A gearbox-style lever lets you control which barrel to wind, while a smooth neutral gear allows the clock to glide freely. At its core, the bespoke L’Epée 1839 1855 MHD movement beats at 18,000 vibrations per hour (2.5 Hz), equipped with 26 jewels and an impressive 8-day power reserve. The robust construction includes an Incabloc shock protection system, ensuring durability alongside flawless performance.
Encased beneath a blown-glass dome modeled after a driver’s helmet, the bodywork gleams in polished palladium-plated brass, silver chrome, and anodized aluminum finishes. Authentic 12-spoke stainless steel rims complement soft rubber tires with foam inserts for lifelike traction and realistic tire deformation, making this clock a miniature masterpiece of form and function.
